About JohnPaul

JohnPaul has been practicing bodywork for nearly 20 years. After many years as a licensed massage therapist specializing in deep tissue, trigger point, and myofascial release, his work is now dedicated to Structural Integration.

He is trained in classical Structural Integration, as taught by Dr. Ida Rolf, as well as complimentary methods. He trained under David Davis who has been practicing and teaching for nearly 50 years and at Structura Institute, an International Association of Structural Integrators accredited program dedicated to applied theory and technique, where he received certification as a Structural Integration practitioner.

He incorporates functional movement assessments, manual resistive and orthopedic tests when necessary, and repatterning exercises to help facilitate lasting change.

Their Approach:

Structural Integration (SI) is a bodywork and movement education system designed to realign and balance the body by manipulating fascia - connective tissue that surrounds, organizes,  and supports all internal structures. Rather than treating isolated symptoms, SI focuses on improving the body's overall structure to enhance efficiency.

Through a progressive series of sessions, SI releases restrictions across fascial layers, from superficial to deep. This process aims to correct rotations, resolve compensatory holding patterns, and improve both joint mobility and  muscle relationships.

  • "One of the best massages I've ever had in my life--if not the best. John-Paul is such a capable, intuitive, strong, diligent, and sensitive bodyworker. I have had long-standing shoulder and neck issues healed and alleviated in one session with John-Paul, where other disciplines / practitioners have not been able to properly find and address the problem."
